Head of Group/Founder

Dr Troy Page is the founder and Director of the Cambridge Online Education Group. This long-established family of schools includes Queens Online School, Cambridge Home School Online, Access Courses Online and The Online College of Art & Design. More recently, Dr Page has launched the innovative Bridge and World Free Schools, further expanding to meet growing individual educational needs across the globe.

With a Doctorate in Education and a strong academic background including Master’s degrees, Dr Page brings extensive leadership and teaching experience from both traditional and virtual school environments.

Passionate about reforming outdated education systems, Dr Page established Cambridge Online Education group to combine academic excellence with modern technology. His innovative approach has resulted in outstanding academic outcomes, with many students progressing to top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and Stanford.

He is also the author of Future-proofing Education: How Technology Can Transform Schools and Prevent an Education Apocalypse, which explores how education systems can adapt to global challenges through innovation. Dr Page regularly appears in the media to discuss issues such as online learning, teacher recruitment, and AI in education.

Mrs Pearce

Headteacher

Roxanne Pearce has previously been the Head Teacher at My Online Schooling and so brings a wealth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to her role as Head Teacher of our new online school. Best known for having led schools and rolling out new initiative programs at online institutions like King’s InterHigh and My Online Schooling, Roxanne has dedicated her career to supporting safe, high-quality educational opportunities for students around the globe. Her vision is clear: to create an inclusive, engaging, and secure environment for students who either seek the flexibility of online learning or thrive in a home-based setting. 

With a deep passion for child-first education, Roxanne believes that every child deserves access to a holistic British education. She sees online schooling not only as an alternative but as a transformative approach that values each student’s well-being and growth. Roxanne leads with integrity, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring her team is equipped to assist varied student needs where necessary, with the goal of creating a trusting, motivating community.

Mrs Murray

School Administrator

Rachel Murray is a School Administrator at Cambridge Online Education Group, where she plays a central role in the day-to-day running of the schools. Her responsibilities span staff recruitment, training, and onboarding, alongside maintaining school records and systems. Rachel liaises closely with parents, students, and staff to resolve queries and ensure a smooth, supportive experience for families. She also provides supply teaching in the Prep Department and regularly supports the helpdesk, assisting prospective parents through calls, emails, and live chat. 

Rachel holds a degree in Psychology from the University of St Andrews and a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Cumbria, with Qualified Teacher Status. She brings over a decade of classroom teaching experience, as well as five years as a writer and editor at Coordination Group Publications, where she helped create widely-used educational resources for students worldwide.

In addition to her professional work, Rachel volunteers as a counsellor at a local women’s centre and serves as treasurer of her children’s school PTA, helping to organise community events and secure grant funding. 

Rhiannon Dance

Admissions Manager

Rhiannon Dance is a dedicated admissions professional with a strong track record in independent and online education settings. Currently overseeing admissions at Cambridge Online Education, she manages the full admissions process—from discovery calls and application assessments to offer management and onboarding—ensuring a supportive and seamless journey for prospective families. Her expertise includes CRM management, interview coordination, international agent partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and finance teams. 

She has successfully introduced systems to improve application flow, strengthen engagement, and streamline operations for both domestic and international applicants. Previously, Rhiannon served as Marketing and Admissions Manager at historic Dover College, where she was the main point of contact for families, led school tours, processed applications, and organised open days. Her approach combines warmth and professionalism with a deep understanding of what families need when choosing the right school.

Anna Branton

Group SENDCO

Anna Branton has 26 years of experience working with young people who have been excluded from mainstream education due to Social, Emotional, or Mental Health (SEMH) issues and Special Educational Needs (SEN). She has also supported children who have experienced severe trauma in her role as a tutor. Her approach is always centred on the individual needs, interests, and aspirations of the young people she works with.

Anna has held the role of SENDCO at three different Alternative Provision schools and spent two years as an Inclusion Specialist in the Cayman Islands—an experience she describes as amazing. She is known for her friendly and approachable nature and enjoys getting to know others.

Outside of work, Anna is passionate about travel and has been fortunate to visit many incredible places around the world. She keeps an ever-growing list of destinations she hopes to explore, with a particular love for swimming in lakes and the sea.

Miss Lane

Key Stage 2 Teacher

Miss Lane has almost 30 years’ experience in education and has taught and led in diverse settings across the UK, Europe, and Asia. Her roles have included Class Teacher, Headteacher, and British Schools Overseas Ofsted inspector.

Her experience spans both local and international schools, and her professional journey continues to evolve through ongoing educational studies and the invaluable insights she has gained from the school communities she has worked with.

She is deeply passionate about student voice and student-led learning, empowering students to take ownership of their education, thus allowing educators to learn from them too. By fostering real-life learning experiences, she has helped students connect their studies to the world around them while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. She believes that a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, built on mutual respect, accountability, and integrity, is essential for every student’s success.

Ms Earl

English Languages Teacher

Ms Earl gained a BA Hons in English Language and Literature from the Open University at Oxford Brookes while balancing a career in teaching and raising two children. She holds a PGCE from Reading University and has taught in both state and private schools across the UK. With a background in corporate training and a Diploma in Management Studies, she transitioned to education fifteen years ago, driven by a passion for English.

Having lived in South America, The Bahamas, and Italy, Ms Earl identifies as a global citizen who celebrates cultural diversity and multilingualism. She now teaches English Language and Literature fully online, embracing a global vision for quality education. Fluent in Italian and conversational in French and Spanish, she has served as Head of English in two schools and works as an examiner for GCSE and A-Level.

Outside of teaching, she enjoys writing, history, art, mountain biking, and sea adventures with her two springer spaniels and a cat who thinks he’s a dog. Ms Earl takes pride in being a role model and excels at adapting her teaching to engage diverse learners worldwide.

Mr Macnaughton​

English and Humanities Teacher

Mr Macnaughton is a graduate of the prestigious Bristol University and has been teaching since 2005. With two decades of experience in London and South America, and involvement in educational projects in China, Russia, and South Africa, he brings a global perspective and a personalised teaching approach to all students.

He has taught across all age groups—from primary to adult education—both in person and online. As a former AQA English Literature examiner and trainer of new teachers in London, he is well-versed in exam preparation and literacy development. Fluent in five languages, Mr Macnaughton combines strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a passion for education to help students exceed their expectations.

He enjoys football, snow sports, and promoting social justice, and is deeply committed to helping students thrive and achieve top grades.

Mr Ho

Music Teacher

Mr Ho is a music tutor with the Royal College of Music’s Teaching Service and an examiner for Cambridge International’s GCSE Music Exam. He holds a first-class honours undergraduate degree in music from the University of Hong Kong and a master’s degree in composition with distinction from the Royal College of Music. He is currently completing his doctoral degree in composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, expected to conclude in 2025.

Dedicated to supporting students in all aspects of music education, Mr Ho offers guidance in academic music (IGCSE, GCSE, A Level, IB, AP), theory exams, aural skills, composition techniques, music software (Sibelius, Dorico, Logic Pro), and music essay writing. His broad expertise ensures a tailored approach for each student.

As an accomplished composer, Mr Ho has been shortlisted to represent the UK in the ISCM World New Music Days (Sound and Music) and has composed works for esteemed institutions such as the Bloomsbury Festival (London) and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to composing, he is also a passionate conductor.

Mrs Vizzini​

Film & Creative Mediums Teacher

Mrs Vizzini is a creative specialist with a background in illustration, multimedia design, and teaching. She holds a Master’s degree in Visual Culture and Communication and is passionate about combining visual storytelling with effective learning strategies. Her teaching aims to inspire creativity and critical thinking, helping students develop both artistic abilities and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys creating art, animating, playing sports, and swimming in the sea with friends and family. She looks forward to sharing her passion with her students.

Mrs Ridley

Business Studies & IT Teacher

Mrs Ridley is a passionate and caring educator with a proven track record of creating supportive, inclusive learning environments that encourage student engagement and achievement. Her approach is student-centred, using differentiation techniques to meet the individual learning needs of each student, whether working one-on-one or in a group setting.

With over 20 years of experience teaching Business Management, Business Studies, and IT at GCSE and A-Level, and mentoring students with special educational needs (SEN), she brings extensive expertise to her tutoring practice. She is well-versed in the requirements of major exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Cambridge, and the International Baccalaureate (IB), enabling her to customise lessons for student success.

Whether preparing for exams or building foundational knowledge, Mrs Ridley is committed to helping her students achieve their full potential in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Mrs Jackson

Languages Teacher

Mrs Jackson holds QTS (UK) in Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and French, 2008) and brings a wealth of academic and professional experience to her teaching. She earned a BSc in Management with Spanish and French from Universidad Nacional de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, and a Master’s in Translation (DipTrans) in English–Spanish in the UK (2022).

She has taught in the UK for almost 18 years across independent boarding and state schools in Belfast, London, Essex, and Kent, at both Primary and Secondary levels. She also served as Teacher in Charge of Spanish at a well-known independent girls’ school in London. Before relocating to the UK, she taught ESL/EFL in independent schools in Lima, Peru. Her teaching experience spans A Levels, Language B Spanish IB, GCSE (Edexcel/AQA), IGCSE, and French GCSE and ab initio.

Originally from beautiful Peru—famously known as Paddington Bear’s homeland—Mrs Jackson began her UK teaching career after receiving a British Council language assistant post. While she enjoys teaching in traditional classrooms, online teaching has allowed her to reach students across continents without borders. She is passionate about teaching Spanish and French to students from early years through post-16.

Mr Willshire​

Science Teacher

Mr Willshire is a qualified teacher with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Physics from Royal Holloway, University of London. He has worked in education for over a decade across various settings, including high schools, sixth-form colleges, adult education, and private tutoring. He teaches Science and Maths from KS3 to GCSE, and Physics from KS3 to A-level.

He incorporates a variety of activities in his teaching, from quizzes and games to exam-style revision questions. His approach is always tailored to each student’s specific needs, helping to build their confidence in challenging topics.

Mr Willshire is also a Team Leader for Edexcel and an examiner for OCR. This gives him a unique insight into how exam questions are structured. He integrates specific exam tips and techniques into his lessons, guiding students on how to maximise marks in both calculations and written responses.

Mrs Moss

Psychology Teacher

Mrs Moss has 20-years’ experience in the UK education system and over the last year she has been teaching online at an international teacher. She has worked in several leadership roles: including Director of Sixth Form and Head of Faculty. Therefore, she has extensive experience of teaching and learning, assessment and improving results.  

With previous experience as Head of Department and Faculty, her knowledge of how to sequence a curriculum to maximise students learning is her strength. She has received recognition by lead Ofsted Inspectors, as someone that has a clear strategic vision on how to effectively plan and deliver an impactful curriculum. 

Mrs Moss is a psychology specialist, and her students consistently perform well in their A Level examinations, receiving excellent results. As a Senior Examiner and Credible Specialist for two different exam boards for A Level and GCSE psychology, she has excellent insight into the examination process, and she uses her knowledge of examining to support students to achieve high quality answers. 

Tim Micah-Grace

Maths Teacher

Tim has devoted his career to fostering a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics and science. His early fascination with flight led him to earn a degree in Aircraft Engineering, where he developed strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep commitment to safety. He later transitioned into Computer Science and Mathematics, specialising in programming and design, further solidifying his belief in the transformative power of education.

His teaching philosophy is rooted in respect, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring that every learner feels valued and supported. Tim has taught in a variety of settings, including private schools, where he has inspired a lifelong love of learning and taken great pride in his students’ achievements.

Outside the classroom, he actively explores emerging pedagogies and technologies to enhance his teaching. His interests include artificial intelligence, space science, and quantum physics. In his free time, he enjoys recreational pursuits such as archery and scuba diving, which keep him mentally agile and offer fresh perspectives that invigorate his approach to education.

Karen Lewty

Family Support Team

Karen works on the General Helpdesk at Cambridge Online Education and has been part of the support team since 2019. As the first point of contact for families exploring online education, she provides advice, guidance, and reassurance—especially for those transitioning from traditional classroom settings—ensuring families feel informed and confident in their decision-making.

Karen’s background is in equestrian sport, having spent 15 years as a professional rider before moving into coaching. She later became a trainer and Development Officer for The British Horse Society, an organisation committed to accessible equestrian education for everyone—from professionals to hobbyists. Her experiences there equipped her to handle a wide range of challenges, even though her path to education support was non-traditional.

Outside of work, Karen continues to ride and has recently shifted her freelance coaching work toward postural rehabilitation for sport horses. She thrives on staying curious and continually learning—whether in the saddle or at the helpdesk.

Tracy Rex

Family Support Team

Tracy is a member of the support desk at Cambridge Online Education, where she is dedicated to assisting families and supporting children’s education. She holds a BA (Hons) in History and American Studies, an MA in American Studies, and a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training (PCET). Before starting her family, she taught American history at Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of South Wales, and also worked at Cardiff Met’s English Language Training Centre, supporting postgraduate international students and collaborating with agents, embassies, and homestay providers.

While raising her children, Tracy worked in local primary schools, running interventions for children aged 4 to 11 with special educational needs (SEN) and English as a second language (ESL), with a strong focus on developing literacy skills. 

Tracy has also worked as a freelance proofreader since 2007 and joined Cambridge Online Education’s support team in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys books, film, and theatre. She volunteers as a Book Fairy, hiding books in public places to inspire a love of reading—especially among those who might not have easy access to books.
