Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the UK has seen a surge in new online education providers. Our internal research into Companies House records and director profiles of these new providers revealed that many were founded by individuals who appear to have no formal teaching qualifications or background in education.
This lack of professional experience often translated into poor curriculum delivery, limited live teaching, and inconsistent learner support.
